Just a few things :)

I’ve never really posted much of my own stuff in here, but I’ve started wanting to get into a more 3D based community, as in Uni at the moment everyone else takes a more experimental approach to animation so it’s harder to discuss things

Anyway, just a couple of things I’ve done recently for my animation course. They’re both for the same project called 'Technology gone too far" and I’ve chosen to look into where the future might take technology too far, rather than the present.

So here’s just a robot camera. Just playing with how, once robot technology comes around, just about every mechanical object will probably get the option to walk/fly or otherwise move around on it’s own… Also an excuse to try a little character animation

And the second is a test piece for what’s to come.
I’ve never really used deforms before, so this one was a bit hit and miss trying to get it to look how I wanted. The movement is still a bit glitchy, but it’ll do for now

Any comments appreciated, mostly any improvements you think I could make in future animations

Oh, and, I’ve been told to use no more than 12fps, that’s not just me being lazy

Since i do not do animations i have no comments on that, but like to say both are well done!

Keep up the good work!

This is very good! I just love the piglet TV. Excellent leg work.

Well done. Nice anticipation before the jump, and good suggestion of weight with the follow through. For the bike peel, I like the hang and wobble before it finally pulls free and flutters away.

Nice animations.

Aww, thanks everyone

I’ll keep posting stuff as I do them

By the way, is there a proper way to do smilies? Just typing beerchug didn’t work, so I copied the image URL and surrounded it in image tags, lol.

Well done! By all means keep posting for our pleasure!

In Safari 3.0.4 i just click on the smilies on the right side and they should appear :lightbulb
(in the past i used Firefox for stuff like this)

I tried that, but it seems to just zoom me to the top of the page?

Ok, I take that back.
Safari must’ve been on a bad trip last time I tried it, it’s working now :argh:
