Joint acting unusual

I’m having problem with my rig’s root joint when i parent the clusters to the root joint. The 1.png is before i parent the clusters to the root joint. The second image is after i parent the clusters to the root joint. It seems that the root joint is trying to stick to its original position rather than follow the transformation when i move the rig. Please help. Thank you.

my guess is that you creating double transformation on the spline curve… if the curve is parented under the root as well as the cluster controlling it then I would expect it to do something like this. You want to add a cluster to all of the verts in the curve and turn off inherits transform on the curves transform… usually if’d put it in a group somewhere in the rig for other nodes that I don’t want to get transformed.
