Here´s a Jellyfish animation test for a comercial film.
I did the animation and rigging and my friend Marcilio El-k did the modeling and render.
here´s is just a playblast for testing the simulation and animation.

I like it, I wanted to do something like this myself some time ago. Movement is nice, the only thing is the “hair” is a bit too bouncy (15 - 16 seconds) - it wouldn’t bounce so much back in water - I would imagine…
Other than that - looks great to me!

I agree. it’s just a test. It took me 5 hours to calculate this 800 frames.
So, is something like…calculate…check what’s not good…recalculate…and go on.

it’s a shame that they almost cut the Jellyfish out for the film…they say that the Jellyfish was drawing to much attention and the Mermaid was fading out…
