Its Time For Me To Finally Reveal Myself!

Well, I have been an EI user for over 12 years now for Motion Graphics and Effects, spending many years in Chicago at Fox, many years self employed, and now residing in Los Angeles. EI and other pieces of software have helped me win numerous local and national awards. For many many years I never posted any of my work. Probably out of sheer fear and insecurity. (im workin on that) Well I am now starting the next major step in my career, the launch of SupeNova Animation & Visual Effects here in LA.

This forces me to be outgoing and forward with my demo reel and for the first time in my
career I have a webpage (very basic) with my Demo Reel using EI almost exclusively for my 3d tool. So naturally I chose to reveal this FIRST here among ‘friends’.

I also have some VERY EXCITING news I can reveal in the next 2 weeks that will indirectly make everyone in this forum… I cant say anymore, but its real cool and not just for me. thats all

anyway, drumroll please. go to web.mac.com/finaleffects to view my first ‘PUBLIC’ demo reel. It is high resolution so you should have broadband, after about 45 seconds you should be able to view it smoothly. (i refuse to lower my compression quality, on my mac it views fine when I hit play after 30 seconds. Im betting on this not being to much of a turnoff for viewers) It is temporarily only a 1 page website.

fyi - I will soon have the domain name of supernovaanimation.com
but not for a few days yet.

Very nice work mate!

Such a large body of work you have to show. It must have been a nightmare pulling all those shots together. My reel is never close to being that long and I always have trouble remembering shots I did, and if I have finals and getting final renders from older clients, etc…

Holy Cow! Thats a great reel, why did you hold back so long??
It would surely make for a good promo on the EI website too. Contact them, i am sure they would be more than happy to show your work in the EI gallery.

Fear and insecurity…? You definitely don’t need to be insecure with a Demo Reel like that! The only fear you should have right now is to die under the load of work that’ll come your way! Congrats!

Amazing work, indeed! I do view it frame by frame in order to appreciate the huge amount of detail you put in every piece. I would like to download it for more detailed observation. Great work, good luck with the launch of SupeNova Animation & Visual Effects.
