Issue with image manager

When trying to drag and drop an image onto my viewport, It doesn’t allow me to select an image from my image manager.
I just end up with a marque selection in my image manager, but I can’t drag and drop. Any ideas? It’s driving me mad…
The Imade manager was working perfectly a few days ago…

When in doubt toast your mari config file , Sometimes mari goes banans and need to be gently told off by reverting back to defaults.

Used to happen to me. Restarting Mari generally did the trick.
