i’ve been learning rigging and curious; im self-taught btw. one thing i’ve never touched is a rigging program. you know the kind that lets you rig multiple characters?

where are the best tutorials for rig programs?
do i have to use the companies program or can i use my own?

I’m not sure what you mean by a “rigging program”.

The best learning material on rigging publicly available is made and published by Jason Schleifer: Animator Friendly Rigging and Aaron Holly at Fahrenheit Digital.

If you are referring to Auto-rigging scripts, you may want to check this thread here for some suggestions.

Cheers!

The Fahrenheit Digital stuff is amazing, very powerful stuff. ‘The Art of Rigging’ is one of my favs too. If you think rigging gets too easy, create an auto-rigger, or flocking systems, or semi-automatic animation (like moving an object from point A to point B and having code/rigs to the rest, placing feet, balancing etc…) it’s only complex as you want it to be.
