So the story is I want to make a animation using in-game character model. Like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVz6svD5axg
So I export the character as .dae from nifskope and import in 3ds max. Apply the texture, group the head and body, and rig it. However rigging is really troublesome( because i lack the skill ). I tried using CAT, and it helped me a lot, with a little complicated problem around the leg and calf. But when I try to repair the weighting value, it become even worse.
I tried using Mixamo, but money is required. So it is out of question. Tried using maya, but I’m not so familiar with the rigging system. Tried AdvancedSkeleton, and then repair with paint brush tool, but just similar to what happen in 3ds max. A tiny problem turn to a huge pain.
So is there a way to export the model from any tool but with the rigged system like how it was supposed to be in the game, and then import it to 3ds max and just continue animating?
If there’s really no way, please tell me what should I do in order to accomplish something like that cod animation. Any plugin or script that is simple enough for extremely lack of skill user like me.
(I know it is my fault for not learning, but trust me I did try, but mostly it’s still too difficult for me to understand what the tutorial are saying. That’s why I decided to ask the question and easy method here before giving up.)
