iPad (SketchBook Pro) Sketch Fun

#1

I picked up my ‘New iPad’ and upgraded it with SketchBook Pro (Autodesk) and ProCreate by Si for some drawing fun (and save paper on the go!)

Known Issues:

  • The hand is slightly big, will be fixed in post (ie, Photoshop)
  • Tatoos are loosely sketched, will be fixed in post (Photoshop) :stuck_out_tongue:

Enjoy!

Quick Update,
Still drawing on the iPad, no Photoshop transition yet

Except for the known issue, it looks good to me.

Maybe the upper arm should be as thick as the lower arm?

Hey,
Thanks  yes I was thinking the same.

Too bad the iPad softwares do not have photoshop capabilities to select parts and transform them…

I’m not an expert in this area, so I may be wrong, but it seems to me that the neck is a little too thin as is the shoulder. Also, the fold of skin where the neck meets the face seems over-emphasized as the neck and that part of the face have very light shading.

Looking forward to seeing the final result

#6

Yes. Then you could give her Popeye arms.

#7

Actually the neck area is not complete, below the hair line there is a hair-band, so the rest of the neck (left of it) is not complete

#8

Something like that

Another update:

Btw, as of yesterday, a new version (complete overhaul) of ‘ArtStudio’ (version 4) for the iPad is out, and it lets you do some cool stuff like photoshop (filters, magic wand…etc).
