The lighting looks inconsistent between the modeling of the forms, the cast shadows, and the highlights. Establish your lighting scheme for the scene and then be consistent about it. Know exactly where the light sources are, what color temperature they are, and then stick to your decision. Also make sure you know exactly what the overall color cast of your scene should be. If the entire sky is of a certain color palette, then your whole scene is going to be of the same color palette because your scene will be lit by the sky dome as a strong ambient light source (and only light sources stronger than the sky dome will dominate, such as the sun or very bright additional sources such as powerful lights in the scene).

The inconsistent hierarchy of edges and focal plane is jarring. You have arbitrarily made some edges totally blurry (such as the tree trunks), yet the parachuting aliens much further away would have sharper edges and detail, and then the tree’s leaves right on top of the tree trunks are also much sharper. You need to make sure your hierarchy of edges make sense both logically and artistically.

You also have a big of a problem with defining details within the contours of objects. For example, the rocks have sharp and defined contour edges, but inside the contour is all blurry, without any defining detail of form.
