Nice tool. Imagine this in Layout but with all functions animatable; would make a very nice way of animating the pivot without making a hiearchy “workaround”. :slight_smile:

excellent, I’ve actually wished for this tool so many times. It would be soooo much more powerful if the tool followed the translation until it was dropped, a bit like having local co-ordinates…would this be possible?

As an example, I will often need to place ridge tiles on the roof of a building. Sometimes the roof goes inwards as it goes upwards, a bit like a pyramid (see attached), & I need to place ridge tiles or lead flashing on the edges. Currently I rotate the roof until the edges are straight along X or Z, then rotate the tiles to fit, then rotate it all back into place.
