Interface doesn't fit on the screen

#1

How can you change the resolution of Zbrush? I’m currently at 1366x768 but the buttons in the right lateral bar are not shown all.
Any idea on how can I solve this?

#2

You can change the canvas resolution from the Document dropdown.(top left)

#3

Nope that’s not the problem. I need to resize the UI. Because there are some buttons that are cut off the screen. Any idea?

#4

Which buttons are not showing? I can see them all in your image. The only time I’ve known the UI to be cut-off is when both left/right panels are open and the UI is customised with buttons that get clipped off the UI.

#5

try lowering the button sizehttp://docs.pixologic.com/reference-guide/preferences/interface/
could all so try turning off >wide buttons

if that dont work you will need to move your cursor over on the right side until your cursor turns into a split up and down arrow and then drag to make it visible

Mmmmm look at this image so you can understand what I mean :

That buttons bar is cut right there. I can’t access the buttons below, you see?

But when I change the resolution to 1920x1080, I can see them but obviously the text is too small and hard to read. :banghead:

if you cant see them then your going need to move them.
go to the screen resolution you can see them then move them, then revert back to your original screen resolution .
you can move some of the buttons from the right shelf to the bottom shelf

#8

Unless I’m mssing something, the text should stay the same size, irrespective of resolution. What size screen are you using?

#9

The minimum system specs of ZBrush include a minimal screen height of 1024 pixels.
This is clearly explained on pixo’s site:

Installed a new 970 graphics card yesterday, am running hdmi, awesome resolution.
But have same problem, tabs are smaller and hard to read , also when side shelf is open it cover buttons, This is a custom ui, Restore standard ui is fine, as far as buttons go, the Top tabs are still srunk down, tiny. The tabs are reflecting changes in the desk top resolution, like when you , go from an 800 to 1024 1920 , the desktop icons get smaller as resolution goes up, as do the tabs in a Zbrush , probably will have to redo the custom ui, to fix the button disappearing . BUT the tabs are an issue! am using r7 64 bit.
