inserting a fence into Vue

Hey all,

I have a scene I made in view which is farm land and beyond that is a forest. What I want to do is insert a fence into the scene which seperates the farmland from the forest. I am using Max 2008 with Vue 6 xstream. I have opened the scene in max and even just put a basic poly box in the scene to mimic where the fence will be but the placement never seems to work properly. Any ideas what I am doing wrong here?

Also, when I try and animate the camera in Max the scene goes haywire? Has anyone had any luck animating via the camera in Max and not in Vue itself?
