In need of CG artists for Short Sci-Fi Movie

#1

I was the Director of Photography on a Short Sci-Fi Movie, “Blue Lollypop”. We shot most of the movie live action with the intention of filling in the gaps with CG shots, and composited elements.

The movie is about truck drivers, who drive Remote Operated Vehicles, ROVs, around desolate and dangerous environments. The truck drivers live and work in small cubicles within a very large industrial complex.

We finished all of the principle photography in August and have begun animating. Or at least trying to animate. We have, so far, been unsuccesful at recruiting modelers and animators to the team. I have done all of the work up to this point on my own. I have only been learning Maya on my own for the past 3 months and I am in way over my head. I am working in Maya, but I have no preference of what program potential collaborators use as long as the shots look awesome.

We have to animate trucks, robots, fantastic landscapes, and ferocious, slug-like beasts. We have excellent production designers on board.

You can take a look at some of the images I have currently completed of one of the trucks that our drivers control. They are posted at http://seth.roughneckproductions.com/truckanimation/ We have no animations done yet. But will have at least this shot done soon.
