Importing Xvid videos as textures.

So, I used to be able to import xvid .avi and use them as textures. However recently I upgraded motherboard/cpu on my workstation (Which prompted a Windows reinstall) and ever since then I’ve been unable to use Mpg4 videos as textures.

I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling Lightwave, Xvid, Windows Media Player and FFdshow and no combinations thereof will let me use avi’s as texutres. I know the avi.p plugin is working because I can import .avis in motion-jpeg format, but nothing else.

Any ideas???
