Importing obj files with textures

I have Messiah 5 pro,and am totally new to this software.

Have at this stage just tinkered around a little have imported obj and 3ds files.

Can I import the textures for these models ?

In general, yes.

I haven’t used messiah for awhile, but I recall that Glossiness value came in at 64 for some reason, when it should be 1 or less.

Other than that, it was fine for me.

while I have your attention " lol " I tried to import a Poser obj of Victoria 4 and Messhia just kept crashing ?

As I mentioned previously I have imported 3DS and Obj without problems but it just wont have anything to do with V4 obj?

I thought I would just ask this with my thanyou message, I wont bombard you with lots of newbie questions will post in a new thread.

Actually, I’m not familiar with Poser, and what format those models are.

But check the forum at Setup tab (official messiah usergroup site) , I think I did read something about Poser/Daz models having some issues.
