importing in cs4

Hi all,
I tried recently to import and object from Vue 6 Infinite into photoshop cs4 for texturing, but I had no luck: photoshop won’t to open it at all!
I have to say that my pc saves Vue’s .obj with a dvd icon: maybe this is the reason why I can’t work on vue’s single objects in photoshop?
Anyone experienced the same problem?

Vue’s object format is “.vob”, which is the same as dvd video files. This explains why they have a dvd icon.
You can’t import Vue objects in any other app, you need to convert them to a more universal format, like 3ds, this is done using the “file”, “export object” command.
Some objects are locked from export, and can only be used inside Vue. the only way to know is try exporting.
