I’m trying to import a .ply mesh in ZBrush, but I don’t know how to convert the file to include vertex color on it in order to create a texture in ZBrush.
I’m working with 3D scaned meshes, created in CloudCompare from a point cloud. Then, with the .ply vertex colored mesh, I need to symplify it and apply a texture generated from this vertex color.
I have tried render to texture in 3dsMax, but my meshes are too complex to unwrap it in max, or I have to decimate too much and lose the information of vertex color previously.
I any of you can help, I’d be so apreciate.
