Hi,
My name is Juan Carlos Jiménez, I’m the author of the book “Tecnicas de Iluminación en 3ds max 4” (“3ds max lighting techniques”) that was published on 2001 (http://www.amazon.com/Tecnicas-Iluminacion-En-3ds-Max/dp/8441511616) although nowadays is discontinued. The book selling was great, given the specific topic and that it was published only in Spanish language, and almost 4000 copies were sold.
Right now I’m writing a new book about V-Ray 3.3 for 3ds max and Maya that will be published in a few months both in Spanish and English (CreateSpace and an important Publisher I can’t reveal). The book will cover V-Ray 3.3 techniques from a production professional perspective (which certainly is a not so well covered topic). The book is in progress but I still need images generated with V-Ray from best authors to illustrate several explanations of some chapters and to illustrate the first page of every chapters and even for the cover which is still undetermined.
I’ve seen some of amazing images here and I’m really interested in using some of them to illustrate several parts of the book (lighting, materials, shaders, …) others will be shown just to be shown because they are amazing, so if anybody wants to be included in the book (of course your name will be shown at the foot of every image and in the Acknowledgements section at the very beginning of the book) please send me by email your own favorites images created by you (highest resolution needed because it will be printed at 300ppp) and also please write full text for the credits of the images.
Thanks in advance,
Juan Carlos Jiménez
