Image plane static background

#1

Hello people. I want to model a head in zBrush (still a beginner) but I want to do it this way.

I need a static background image for reference (that will not rotate, pan, dolly, tilt, zoom) and also I need my model to be semi transparent so that I can see the image behind.

So far none of the methods I have seen worked (like creating and image plane in 2.5D then editing a sphere in 3D, applying a grid with reference images etc). I just want a static background image that will never move.

Also transparency on my model? None of the methods I saw for this work either (Grid>Front only reveals it for that grid and not the rest of my scene, Jellybean transparency makes it white etc).

Any help?

Really strange that nobody knows how to do this ._.

i think what your looking for is under the Draw pallet,
should be able to put your images there as a reference
