illustrator/exporting for Web problem

Hey

im using old illustrator 10, and recently came upon a problem with exporting graphics. If i create a simple box shape filled whatevercolourilike in export menu the box border pixel is blended sometimes its down border sometimes left. It looks complete random. Doesnt matter if i check or unceck transparency box. Also that borer changes color upon changing matte colour. Hos to change it to solid? This happens often when i do web buttons…all have same colour different text and sometimes while exporting they got that blended border pixel sometimes dont. Looks complete random to me.

I pretty much always copy/paste graphics from Illustrator into Photoshop when I’m doing any sort of web work, Illustrator is just too non-exact when it comes to pixels (which makes sense because it isn’t really designed for that) and it tends to adjust edge pixels in ways you don’t want (which is what you’re seeing I think). Once you’re in Photoshop it’s much easier to work with transparency, background colors, etc.
