ikfk spine , what's the best way to do it

I can’t find a really good way to setup ik&fk spine. If use spine IK solver . it will get some stip joints when the curve stretch hardly . if use a ribbon system like cartoon arm rigging ,there will be not fk effect . in fact , both those ways are limited for twisting ( the weasel in Ice Age 3) .
So anyone how can support a really good way to do it ?
