IK-FK Arm set up in T-Pose to APose

#1

Hello,

I have a question concerning a rig I just made. I modeled the character in an A pose and then had the “brilliant” idea to measure out the length of the distance from shoulder to elbow and shoulder to wrist and then start building an IK/Fk arm set up in a T-Pose.

I thought that I could simply move the entire rig into the proper position later but I haven’t found a way to make it work. Is it even possible?

The next thing I thought of doing was to cutting up the arms from the mesh and moving them to the shoulder and the continue from there…

I hope that someone can give me some advice on what to do…

Hi
You could rig and skin the model in A pose. Then Rotate the Fk and IK shoulder parent group to T pose. This way the control curve won’t have any transform values.
