ies path in project in maya2011

hi, im using ies files for lighting up my scene, but im not sure where to place ies files in my project folder . i tried putting them in sourceimages folder but it doesnt get accessed when i move the project folder to another directory, i have to manually assign the path again to access the ies files…

anybody got any idea regarding this… hope im clear in my query…
