I'd like to modify the grey border surrounding the canvas in ZBrush.

#1

Does anyone know if there is a setting to change the inner border on the canvas without changing the document size or zoom? All of my edits are near the center of the canvas anyway, and I like to see what I am doing. This also helps when navigating around what I am editing at the moment, and would reduce fatigue when having to reach all the way to one edge to zoom out or rotate the object whenever I am sculpting details.

I’m sorry, I really don’t know much about ZBrush’s UI settings, but I do know it’s pretty robust. I tried looking for settings myself but I haven’t found anything that does what I need. If you can help, thank you! =)

The secondary border(thin grey line) automatically appears when your canvas is too big to allow a ‘safe zone’ in which to navigate the canvas when you’re zoomed right into your model.

You can’t change the size of, so instead you just have to change the size of your document. Although it really would be a good feature to be able to change it.

upper right side> (AAHalf )the grey border will be hidden.
and above that> (Actual) will bring back the grey border

personally i would lower the document size a tiny bit with the width or height slider and press crop
