Yes, Jason doesn’t really like all the different walks Williams is doing in his book. I got both: Animator’s Survival Kit and Goldberg’s Character Animation Crash Course. I think both are great, with the first more technical, while the second book is more general (also treats compositing as a topic).
And Preston’s Blair’s book comes in two flavours: the first edition (which I prefer, since it has all the original characters in it) and the second revised edition (with all the generic ones).
