Hi, i will be building/buying a new workstation soon and it will be based off the i7 EP (dual socket) Xeon chips, but from what i have read some 3d apps hate hyperthreading like MentalRay, but some seem to love it like Maxwell~Render. What group is Vue in, if anyone has any experience with hyperthreading with Vue let me know.

yep, your rig will have hyperthreading, it creates virtual cpu cores. If ya could, could you render a complex scene with and with out hyperthreading enabled? You have to turn it off in the BIOS.
