Rebeccak,
Thanks, just the photo was good .I had only one try with oil painting .I had set a still life and used only black and white.Didn’t come very well. But now I think to begin learning to paint somehow.I thought about gouache and again black and white.

Ravena,
Those monkeys and the cow are very cool :).

Mr. Mu,
That photo was quite nice :).In fact my lines are very messy for now but I am fighting with them

#1291

Another Horse Drawing !couldnt help it ,this one is 25 minutes.

#1292

Paint Shop, 20 mn

#1293

Hey all!
First, thanks a lot to everybody here for making this thread fun. And above all making 15min of sketching exercise a great way of learning. Although i have been working on digital painting but 15 mins. is quite tough a time for me to refine the detailing and outlook of pose. Yet by working on it i have realized the importance of stick drawing for basic pose. I am in the phase of learning anatomy so would enjoy suggestions for improvement.PS,15min.

#1296

Lovely monkey Ravena… And Thomas… these horses… oh my… that’s amazing…
Rebeca: I use Paint Shop Pro. it doesn’t have as many features as Photoshop or Painter, but I know my way around it… and I really should get a tablet (using the mouse at the moment :frowning: )

Here’s another quickie I just did.

#1297

Thomas: Those horses are really rocking! I love em.

Still in a digital rot. Sketched the formal dress wearing chicks. I sure would love to study them at length for the folds of their clothes.

#1298

Tizianoadmirer thanks for the wonderful reference! Its always a pleasure to draw such beautiful creatures!

Becca Thanks! Hows Class going?

Ravena thanks !the Monkey paintings are really a pleasure to look at!

Queenie Thanks! The Girl in the second pic should look very nice with a red dress:)

One more Horse! 22 minutes .

#1299

Queensoul,

Great to see these! When drawing clothed figures, try to determine / imagine what the figures look like without their clothes ~ generalize the form first, then drape clothing around them.

Siju,

Beautiful sketch, as always! Thanks for asking about the class ~ it hasn’t started yet, but will on Feb. 10th. Very excited, as so far, around 22 people have signed up! Should be a blast…

Ravena,

I TOTALLY LOVE YOUR MONKEYS!!! :bounce:

Cheers,
