We love HairFarm here. But you didn’t ask a question, you just stated you heard it was great and nobody contradicted you. For some reason, you decided that the lack of comments meant it wasn’t good. Go figure.

Fair enough. So, is there a better alternative or what? The one I have keeps crashing for some reason.

Contact the developer, provide him with details so that he my attempt to reproduce the problem. I’m sure he will be happy to help you. BTW - I find hairfarm to be very stable.

I’m not getting an error message, it just says 3DS has stopped working.

I understand. Still, trust me, that isn’t normal. If you contact the developer I’m sure he can suggest a course of action that will help to track down what is causing this problem on your system. Hope you can get it sorted out.

That would be a good place to start!

I know that the HF forum doesn’t seem that active… but if you ask a question there you will get a reply. The forum seems dead but that’s not because no one is using the software or that no one cares… rather… it’s just that the tools are very easy to use and for the most part work as they should.

But by all means, if you are having problems… then ask for help.

The best solution for Max IMHO.

I think the price is hurting its wider usage in the Max community - I can understand wanting to protect his investment, but things like being unable to easily use it on a laptop, the initial vague accusation that users might be leaking cracks of the software (which he apologised for) irritated me.

It is a very nice plugin though - just hope the price doesn’t kill its development.
