I can't enlarge the main character viewport?

When I open motion builder I cant seem to enlarge the window where I can place the character on the grid? I can enlarge it slightly by pulling it down but not enough to maximise this view to see my character motion properly.

I get an error message saying an unqualified video card is detected when loading up Motionbuilder, could this be the problem?
