Today, we are releasing Howler 11.1 with new tools for animation, and improved 3D rendering.
Version 11.1 features improved GUI components, including new knob styles, and a new default color picker, which is more Photoshop-like. There are also a number of new watercolor media, based on real-world materials. The foliage painting tool now has finer control over shading parameters, and there’s a new L-System tool.
We’ve added the ability to move animated brush along a curve with the curve tool, and the Cloud Modeler can now use animated brushes like sprites to make more interesting cloud animations.
We continue to improve our 3D engine with real fresnel, depth attenuation, underwater scattering and caustics, improved bump map quality, ground fog, and the ability to identify which GPU is being utilized.
