Hello everybody.
I’m rendering a fire breathing creature. I know I can have a simulation stop at a given frame, the point is that after that the simulation simply gets frozen… Or better, my flames are still visible, rock steady and do not desappeare. How can I have flames desappeare at a given frame/frames range? I thought that editing the number of particles was going to be my best bet, but it’s one of the few parameters you cannot key. I tinkered a lot with the cylinder explosion emitter and I found a way to have the fire fade away just as I needed, but the fading is just a frame long.
Any tips/tricks/advices would be welcome.
See you and thanks in advance.
How to stop a fire simulation at a given time?

Hey, thank you very much!
It works when creating particles from selection, I didn’t get that menu when putting in my scene the default explosion from sphere/cylinder, or so I remember.
Thanks again and see you.
