How to stop a brush from drawing multiple lines?

This brush draws 3 lines with just one stroke- as seen in the image.
How to modify it so that one stroke will draw just one line?

Under Brush//Alpha and Texture, you might have Alpha Tile set to three.

Thank you for your suggestion. In this case it was an issue with the alpha width/height (I just have figured it out recently).
