Hi , I’m relativity new to the 3D artist/VFX world so this might be a noob question to all the experts so that’s why i’m hoping you guys can help me lol. So i have this model i bought from cgtrader and i wanted to rig it up and simulate the clothes the model has on it i got marvelous designer cause i heard it was good for this sorta thing but im quite unsure how to begin simulating the cloth/ clothing already on the model any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have to load the clothes as a separate file, as you load your character as avatar, and clothes as deformable objects. MD now can simulate any mesh as clothes.
Bear in mind, MD is still far from perfect for complex clothes simulation, so if you have many layers of simulated fabrics, you will have to calculate them separately one by one, so that they don’t collapse with each other.
