How to Renam File in Outliner

How can I rename this model so the new name ‘sticks’. I can rename but it doesn’t stick.

if you not joking you need just double click obj in outliner (left mouse btn.)

There is a “:” in the name. That is called a namespace.
Open up the Namespace Editor and move the object to the root.

Now you get rid of everything in front of the colon.
