I understand how to use pflow to get the boxes moving in that general direction, but where I’m lost is what material settings are used to have the random glowing colors on the edges of the boxes fade in and out of intensity.
I’ve gotten as far as learning of VRayEdgesTex to get an outline going, and I’ve successfully instanced that, but I’m left without any of the glow or random color selection. I’ve played some with EdgeFinder [ http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/edgefinder ] as well, but with no success yet.
I could instance multiple Pflows on top of eachother, use VrayEdgesTex each with it’s own color, but that would still leave me wtihout the glow and fading of intensity.
I suspect, since the boxes are black, I -might- be able to re-create the glow in post, but that doesn’t seem how it was done.
I suspect some box#3 data operator use, but I’m not quite sure.
Any leads?
