how to move the pivot of a nurb ctrl?

anyone know how I can move the pivot of a nurb ctrl using python?
I tried to use the rotatePivot with cmds.move but doesn’t seem like it’s doing anything…help if anyone knows

try xform instead of move.
http://download.autodesk.com/global/docs/maya2012/en_us/CommandsPython/xform.html

mc.xform(sel,a=True,ws=True,piv=[0,0,0])
