How to limit the bone rotation to just one axis? The bone is IK chain with dynamics. Please see the attached scene.. THX

Does the scene need to be complicated ?
Is it a soft curved lid or a a straight flat lid ?

Seems that in either case a simple rotation of the lid would work.
Perhaps a delay deformer could add a bounce if desired.


Hello, thank you vid2k2 for your reply. Yes the top lid can be just flat one polygon like surface which should after it hit the floor a bit jump or bounce… I know there is a way but where to start?
