I have some eyes that I would like to extract/subtract from the head to make eye sockets. Making the eyes an ‘insert object’ and then subtracting them is not a very accurate way of doing it, because first I have to move, scale, and rotate the insertBrush (the eyes) into place. Which I find extremely hard to get a good lineup. If I use the boolean function in the subtool and then ‘remesh’ I end up with a huge poly count and loose some of my detail. Can any one suggest a good way of subtracting these eyes from the head?
