I was wondering now how to export Open EXR file format out of C4D within Redshift, (in Beauty Pass) do i assume right i just need to use streight alpha and do some compositing in another app?
PNG works well, it can be exported as expected within alpha straight away
Tricky! There appear to be controls in the AOV manager to select either RGB or RGBA - but only with direct output.
Just export as openEXR. Works as intended wherever you use the file, in our experience. I don’t think it matters if you use Straight alpha or not. Rendered a lot of EXR in the last month and had no issues compositing in AE. Not using AOV.
