Sure is.
Set your paint operator to “Current Frame to end”
Paint your first part, next frame. Paint your second, Next frame, etc.
Have fun.
Well, im not new to combustion, actually im very used to it… Recently I discovered there is a very nice and easy way to animate vector paint strokes in after effects, its just one push of a button and it kinda plays back your paintstrokes automatically. I wondered if there was an easier way i had’nt seen yet to do the same thing in combustion, because I dont want to use after effects to do my animation.
But… after hearing your answer I guess I’ll have to use the dot per dot method or use after effects.
well, you could get alittle more elaborate. Draw it first, and then animate it unmasking, or animate the opacity.
Basically though my suggestion is, with every stroke, you just hit page down, and continue drawing.
You know what, combustion actually works pretty well! I find that it gives me more controll then afterfx, thnx man
