How to change this Beer Mug Label

#1

So, this is a bought model. I am trying to change the label from the current one (shown in pic), to a Bud light Logo. This is not a NURBS model…this seems to be important, since it tells me that when I try to put the Bud logo on and move it around via the 2d texture “Interactive Placement” I get some sort of error there.

The guy who did this seemed to use a shadow layer, then two other shadow masks all with the same image. If someone could tell me how to change this label it would really help me out. Thank You

It’s just a matter of replacing the texture image, usually requires photoshop to paint or overlay the picture on top of the old texture, making sure it fits the UV coordinates. Also which software is this?

So, first off, thanks for the reply. Second, it appears he did the following image in Photoshop…
Is there a way to attach an image, I don’t seem to be finding how to do it?

Also the software is Maya 2013:)

To display an image, upload it to a free hosting site (photobucket, imageshack etc.) then click the image icon at the top and paste the url.

Ok, So I am trying to replace one beer background in Photoshop (Beer 1 pic), with another beer logo (Bud Light pic). Then transfer the image onto the beer mug in Maya.

Anyone know how to do this, I am sort of a newbie with PS.

Open both images in photoshop.

-Select the bud light image
-Shift drag it to the “texture” image (white one),
(or ctrl+a, then ctrl+c to copy, then ctrl+v onto white one)
-Position on top of old logo
-Save to new image file.
-Apply new image file to model in maya.
