How to assign 3 maps/textures to my C4D model?

#1

Hello:

I recently decided it is time to roll my sleeves and start learning Cinema 4D. I keep on hearing enthusiastic praise about it.

One of my first models is this one that I found in the Hum3D site, free section (https://hum3d.com/free/lion-doorknocker/).

It is supposed to look as follows:

Rendering%201

In the “tex” folder, there are 3 files (dispmap.jpg, normalmap.jpg and cavmap.jpg). Do not recognize the latter. How do I associate them properly with the model?

I am very new at this. The extent of my knowledge is to double click to create a new material, double click again to deal with it and browse for a map/texture.

TIA!

How to apply textures to generic geometry-only model?

dispmap = Displacement Map
normalmap = Normal Map
cavmap = Cavity Map - closest equivalent is Ambient Occlusion and in basic terms is used to define the cavities of a model (http://wiki.polycount.com/wiki/Cavity_map)

To explain where they go and how to apply them, I have found this link for you:
