How many PCs can you install Discreet Combustion on?

I am in the process of building a couple workstation PCs(Dual AMD) and I just wanted to know how many PCs I can install combustion 4 on with the commerical version. Thankyou very much.

you can install it on as many machines as you have licenses of the software.

Actualy you can install it on all PC machines. However, you can only run the gui portion on as many machines as you have licenses. You get some crazy number like 999 free rendernodes with each copy, from the helpfile “A single combustion license permits you to install backburner on any number of workstations to configure your render network.”
