how do I duplicate object that have rigged

Hi masters, I need help on duplicate object,
I have rigged object, skinned, have constrain , blendshape, and have driven key,
I want to know how I multiple/ dupplicate that object m so I dont need to set everyrhing from start.

you can use maya reference option , it allows you to reference ( duplicate ) the rig file as many times you want .

You can’t just ctrl+D duplicate a rig in most cases.

All the objects have input connections. Particularly any constraints.

On more simple rigs you can duplicate special with the option for duplicate input connections checked.

Otherwise do what ranjith17 recommends. Bring in multiple references of said rig. It will be given its own namespace number and will keep your scene file light.

You can do it by copy your object group with Ctrl + C and then Ctrl + V to paste,

this duplicates everything creating new copies, even blendshapes and pose interpolators as long as you put everything inside the same group, rigg objetc, pose interpolators, xgen hair, controllers), then if you want to change model and use same rig, you only need to bind the new model to this rigg and copy weights from the old mesh to the new one, same process you follow for adding cloth to your model.

also you can leave your model and rigg alone in one scene and then import this scene several times to your new scene, you can also load your model several times to this new scene by using content browser.

sometimes I export the model and reimport it to get an independent copy that maintains the rigging
