How do i draw clothes?

#1

These 6 last months, i’ve been looking at clothes on people; and how they move.
But i still can’t understand how draw them  .
Any suggestion of what i should do? Maybe there is a “cloth” tutorial?
Note that i’m pretty new at this drawing thing :hmm: .

thanks! :bounce:

Check out this tutorial by Ron Leman over at conceptart.org. Be sure to save them and print them out if you can. You never know when they might dissappear online.

Nothing beats experience…

Study, practice and study… How do you think the old masters did?

If you don’t mind spending a little money, you should have a look at “Dynamic Wrinkles and Drapery by Burne Hogarth” I bought the book a few years back it shows most of the different types of wrinkles you get in cloth and is well illustrated… but CgMonkey is right, nothin beats practice.
