I draw the points I want, then when I click on the first point that I drew it was supposed to close the rotoshape and go from add shape node to edit shape node, but that does not happen, it just keeps adding new points and doesn t close the circle. what am I doing wrong?

In version 2.5 you will need to hit the build button in the viewer to close a roto shape. This button will then change to edit and the shape will close !
although I haven’t used 2.5 in a LONG time, you may also want to try right-clicking on the shape as it may have close option in the menu !
