Hello, I am trying to animate the mouth movements of a lego man but can’t figure out how to do it. Blend shapes won’t work because the facial features are just textures and not apart of the actual mesh so how would i go about animating something like this?

use controllers to control texture sequences.

I’ve wondered about this though. In the old days of like N64 and PS1 games, did they not merely animate the UV’s to move around pupils and open mouths? I guess if his head has no horizontal edge-loops encompassing the mouth, it wouldn’t really be feasible… But adding those aren’t exactly hard.
