do this:
i want to make a copy of a head that appears on a footage , but i want to copy on different frames. Now im doing a mask that contains the part of the video i want to put on other frames, but the part of the video doesn’t stick to the mask i have made, so i cant move in the timeline because it takes the frames i’m moving to…
my english is poor to explain this:cry: …any idea?
thanks for advice
how can i...
I assume you want to do that in combustion.
- apply a paint operator to your footage
- draw a rectangle and add some pints as needed
- switch this rectangle to reveal
- make sure the lock symbol next to the reveal button is open - that will keep the selected frame on your rectangle
- adjust the offset x y to get the head you want
hope that helps
i do a mask and then i use x and y to move the footage zone i want into the mask… but it doesent keep the image in, because if i move the mask de image that contains the mask moves thorugh the footage, where you move the mask, i have unlocked the lock symbol, what am i doing wrong? at the beginnig of the video the first frames appears black on the mask…help plz :rall:
sorry my fault: switch to clone and not reveal.
draw a filled rectangle and not a mask.
to get the second head as a still frame it works this way, but if you want the second head moving, it is more complicated.
I think one way is to duplicate your layer and apply a draw mask operator.
You have to mask out the head via rotoscope (keyframe the points of the mask every 5 frames).
after that you can position the second layer to get the head where you want.
hope that is what you are after.
