How can I make this?

I am trying to make simple short brand Id clip and liked this.
Apart from motion tracking( don’t know it’s done lol ) those animations on the cup, is it something can be done in After efftects using layers or it needs a dedicated 2d animation software?
Any ideas or guess is great help to me.

What you need is different layers of vector images placed in After FX and having their transforms animated.

That’s a cool clip. You could also just animate mask/mattes in AE on solid color layers, using the pen and pointer tool. Each color is a layer. Keyframe each matte before you move between frames.
