So durring a few scattered periods of time over the past 2 days I started a new sketch. This is a new portrait of Hough Laurie who plays House on House M.D. Here are the first few images of the process.

This is my final of House - Hugh Laurie. I’ll be submitting this to my portfolio on here and on to the next one.

I got declined from the gallery, I dont plan to revisit this for a while. I have a new piece I started on. If I am in the mood in the future to add his body and a BG I will.
Any thoughts or ideas on what I should paint in the back ground. I dont really wanna make something generic, something more like his office or a scenery.
The fact it’s just a floating head on a white background is part of the problem. Also, CGS in general does not allow artwork that’s obviously referenced from copyrighted commercial photography of celebrities.
I just realized I never posted this video of me revealing my layers. I have plans to start recording my drawings from start. I am starting a new job on monday and am moving tomorrow, hopefully I’ll start a new piece this week or next.
Thanks,
Wink
